Nokia Mobile has today unveiled the price of Nokia 5.1 Plus (a.k.a Nokia X5) in India. The Nokia phone will sell for a super attractive price of ₹10,999. Nokia 5.1 Plus comes powered with a Mediatek Helio P60 processor which is enough of power for whatever task you throw at it. Nokia is also shipping the device with a 5.86-inch HD+ display (with a notch) and 32GB of storage & 3GB of RAM.
The pricing is one of the crucial factors affecting the sale of smartphones in India. Barely anybody guessed that Nokia will go this low while pricing the Nokia 5.1 Plus in India. Most persons guessed it to be between 12,000 and 13,000 INR, with some going as high as 14,000 INR.

At this price, the Nokia 5.1 Plus will compete with the likes of Realme 1 (from OPPO) which also uses a Helio P60 processor. There are areas where the Realme 1 will get an edge, but considering Nokia has a better brand value, and a more robust promise on software updates, buying a Nokia 5.1 Plus is in the best interests of a buyer.
Availability: The Nokia 5.1 Plus will start selling in India from 1st of October. It will be available online-only via flash sale on Flipkart.com and Nokia’s own shop at Nokia.com.
Nokia Mobile is also bringing the Nokia 5.1 Plus to other markets. The device is already on pre-orders in Russia. Nokia Mobile is also holding up an event scheduled on 4th of October, which might see the device being launched in more European markets.
