HMD Global has launched the new Nokia 4.2 in India. The smartphone is the first series-4 device with the Nokia branding. Nokia 4.2 in India comes with a price tag of Rs. 10,990 and is targetted at the offline market. HMD Global will, however, sell it online via Nokia.com website, but it is not an online-exclusive product.
The Nokia 4.2 features a good-looking 5.71-inch HD display, featuring a round notch for the camera. Nokia 4.2 comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage and 3GB of RAM. It boasts of a dual-camera setup at the back (with a 13MP shooter and a 2MP secondary lens for depth sensing). The font camera is an 8MP shooter. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 439 CPU, backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
The device also bets on the dedicated “Google Assistant” button which will offer 1-click access to Google’s voice assistant. Another highlighting feature of the device is the notification light integrated into the power button.
Nokia 4.2 is available immediately for purchases via Nokia.com/phones. It will be available at select big retail stores like Croma, Sangeetha Mobiles and Reliance from 14th of May. And it will be available at stores pan-India starting on the 21st of May.
