The Nokia 5.1 Plus is officially launched in Taiwan. The glass sandwitch design with a notched display will cost Taiwanese buyers $4990 NTD/TWD. That’s about 162 USD, a significant difference from the approximate European pricing of EUR 199 ($230 USD). For Indian readers, a rough conversion to INR brings us to a price close to INR 12,000.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus comes in 32GB + 3GB storage combination. The device also offers the possibility to expand the storage by another 400GB by using the MicroSD card. One disappointment is that it is a hybrid solution, so you can either use 2 SIM cards or 1SIM and MicroSD card. Nokia 5.1 Plus features a HD+ display and a MediaTek Helio P60 processor which should be enough of power for most users.
Taiwanese customers can buy the device from the various online stores, including PC Home, Yahoo and Momo. For detailed specifications, please check the regional Nokia website.
Unlike the Noka Plus, the Nokia Plus is said to make its way top select European markets as well. It was briefly listed on Nokia websites in Europe. The device is also up for pre-orders in Russia, however a price is not yet announced.
