Nokia fans can now purchase the Nokia 6.1 Plus at offline stores across India. Nokia launched the smartphone in India as an online-exclusive product with availability only via Flipkart or the Nokia.com webshop. With offline availability, the device will now see even more attention since a large part of the India population still buys phones at offline shops.
It is surprising to see the phone enter offline retail, especially since HMD Global also offers a similar product with the Nokia 7.1. The Nokia 7.1 is an improved version of 6.1 Plus with nearly identical design, except for the Zeiss branding at the back. More surprising is the fact that the offline price is slightly lower than online. The Nokia 6.1 Plus is available at offline stores for ₹15,499. On the other hand, the device still sells for ₹15,999 on the Flipkart website.
Anyhow, if you were eying to buy the Nokia 6.1 Plus, but couldn’t trust the online shopping websites, then you can walk into a nearby retail store to experience the device.
