Nokia Mobile has today launched the Nokia X6 as the Nokia 6.1 Plus in the Hong Kong market. It seems the previous report about the Nokia X6’s Hong Kong launch was extremely accurate. The device can be called the successor to the Nokia 6.1 with a larger (and notched) display.
Product codes: The international variant seems to carry the following product codes – TA-1103, TA-1083, TA-1116. There will be minor variations across the product codes such as for carrier bands.
Similar hardware + Android One
Nokia has made the few alterations as we expected from the global device. The Nokia 6.1 plus runs on Android One software (Android Oreo 8.1). The hardware is all the same. There is the same glass-sandwich design with a 5.8-inch 19:9 display on the front, both wrapped around a solid aluminum frame. The dual 16MP + 5MP cameras sit on the back of the device.
The headphone jack is intact, so is the fingerprint scanner at the back. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 636 processor and comes with 64GB of onboard storage. Unfortunately, NFC support is not included. Nokia has also skipped the black color option in the Hong Kong. The device only comes in blue and white.

Price & Availability
Nokia is only bringing the Nokia 6.1 plus in 4GB + 64 GB option to the Hong Kong. On the other hand, they offer the X6 in different storage and RAM variations.
The device will retail for $2288 (HKD) | ~$292 (USD) | ~Rs. 20,00 (INR). It will be available for purchase from Tuesday, 24th of July.
The price is bumped up from what we have seen for the Nokia X6 in China. Pricing wise, the device somehow manages to find its spot between the Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 7 plus.
Here are some images (from Engadget), shared in a Nokia Group. The Android One logo looks elegant sitting under the glass. The good thing is that we no longer see the Designed by HMD Global and other details, hence making the branding look simple and clear.
