Nokia 6 registrations at Amazon India surpass 1 Million; Sale on 23rd

Amazon India has announced today that it has received more than 1 Million registrations for the Nokia 6. The Nokia 6 was announced back in February, but it is only now that the Nokia 6 will be available in India. Production delays and the implementation of new tax regimes in India are blamed for the delayed availability of Nokia phones in India.

The Nokia 6 will be initially sold as Amazon Exclusive. First flash sale of the Nokia 6 is scheduled for August 23rd. The registrations for the sale are open and you too can register by visiting the Amazon page for Nokia 6. Nokia will be selling the phone only in 3 colors and missing out the copper. The limited Arte Black edition of Nokia 6 is said to be coming later on.

The Nokia 6 costs Rs. 14,999 for the 32GB and 3GB RAM configuration. Amazon Prime customers can earn a cashback up to Rs. 1,000. So, if you’re eying the Nokia 6 and you’re still not an Amazon Prime member, then you should upgrade think of joining the Prime league.

The sale is still a few days away. I hope Nokia will do justice to the fans by putting up enough units for sale. Now that the phone is finally going to be available, Nokia should not piss the fans further by still not having enough stock to sell.
