Nokia Mobile has today launched the Nokia 7.1 in India. The smartphone was unveiled last month at an event in London. Nokia 7.1 is already available for purchase in several markets, including the US and EU. The device closely resembles the Nokia 6.1 Plus, but there are certain aspects which make it stand out as well.
The key highlight of Nokia 7.1 is the PureDisplay tech which can not only display HDR content, but also does conversion from SDR to HDR in real-time. The dedicated chip processes some 500 million per second to deliver a great media experience. To compliment the display, Nokia Mobile has used the camera optics from Zeiss.
Since the Indian market is very competitive in terms of specs, Nokia Mobile is throwing in 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. The device does have the capability to expand the storage using a MicroSD card.
Nokia 7.1 will be available for purchase at offline stores (and Nokia.com webshop) starting from December 7th 2018. The recommended best buy price is Rs. 19,999. That said, it can vary based on the shop and it’s operating margins.
