It’s been 3 days since we saw the higher storage and memory variant of the Nokia 8 at FCC. Now, as per winfuture, HMD Global has already announced the Nokia 8 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage in Germany.
Germany was the first market where Nokia 8 started retailing. Now, with the latest announcement, it seems that the higher storage variant is also coming first to the German market. Besides the additional storage, the Nokia 8 is also is also set to receive ANT+ support.
As per the source, the sales of the brand new Nokia 8 in 128GB storage and 6GB RAM will start from 20th of October. HMD is also sticking to its existing plan of offering higher memory in just one color. So, once again, the Nokia 8 in ‘Polished Blue’ will have the honors of carrying double the storage and 1.5 times RAM. However, I feel the added storage should be offered in all colors and HMD should not kill the color choice for those requiring higher storage.
The remainder of the specifications remain unchanged. The key ones being the 5.5-inch 2k display, Snapdragon 835 processor, dual 12-MP cameras and the 3090mAh battery. The upgraded variant will be dearer by 90 EUR and will retail for EUR669 starting 20th of October.
