It so seems that HMD Global is leaving no stones unturned to offer the best experience on the Nokia 8. As per latest rumor, the Nokia 8 will feature Nokia OZO audio. The OZO audio brings advanced 3D/360° capture and playback capabilities to smartphones. This guarantees a far better audio capture and playback experience on devices with OZO audio technology.
The rumor comes from vtechgraphy.com with an image of a Facebook post shared by somebody who is probably an employee at HMD Global. What gives more credibility to the rumor is the fact that Nokia is already making the technology available to partners. That is, Nokia is making the OZO audio technology available to all camera and smartphone manufacturers to bring best-in-world audio capture and playback to their users. Now, what better way to demonstrate the technology than having it one of the Nokia branded devices?
Advanced psychoacoustic technology allows sound to be captured and played back just like it would in real life, transporting you and amplifying your experiences in every direction.
The Nokia 8 is a camera centric smartphone. It will feature a dual-camera setup with two 13MP sensors. The images are already going to be great. The addition of OZO audio will make the smartphone capable of recording high-quality audio for the crispy clear and surround sound experience.
Other specifications of the Nokia 8 include Snapdragon 835 processor, 5.3-inch display with qHD resolution, up to 6GB of RAM. The phone may also come with Android O out of the box.
