HMD Global has released a new software update for the Nokia 9 Pureview. The changelog is similar to a typical maintenance release for Android One devices. So, it is hard to say what exactly has changed with the update. However, since the device is already running on the April 2019 Android security patch, we can expect some bug fixes and enhancements.
The update bumps the build number from 4_22C to 4_22D. The bump in versioning is minor, so the changes should be small too. The size of the update also shows some agreement as it is 72.1MB in size.
Nokia 9 Pureview is a camera-centric device, and that’s one thing which they might have improved. Another issue with the smartphone is related to the fingerprint scanner. Nokia 9 Pureview is the first Nokia device to feature a fingerprint scanner under the display and HMD seems to be having some issues with it. Hopefully, there’s something good for the users of Nokia 9 Pureview.
