Nokia at MWC 2017: Nokia 3310 & Nokia 6,5 & 3 Revealed

The most awaited event of for the Nokia fans has just finished. Nokia has unveiled 3 of Nokia-branded Android devices today that are designed to cater for the mid-range of the smartphone market. Nokia also reintroduced the most iconic Nokia 3310 during this event.
Let’s take a look at what happened in the event & the specifications & price of the 3 Android devices.

Highlights of Nokia at MWC

  • At first Nokia talked about Virtual Reality and its OZO camera.
  • Next Nokia begins with Withings, health and fitness tracker firm. Starting this summer all Withings products will start carrying the Nokia name. And Withings trackers will now come with Coach and fitness program. A patient care platform is being launched on Withings products, which means the Withings products will act as connected devices to pass on health information to doctors.
  • Next Comes Nokia 6, Nokia 5 & Nokia 3
  • At the end the most iconic Nokia 3310 was revealed.

Nokia 6

Nokia 6 is manufactured from a block of aluminum with diamond cut edges. Initially Nokia 6 was exclusively available in China. In China it had received a over whelming response.
It was reported that 74% of users were from new generation, i.e. these were the user who have bought a phone for first time.
Nokia 6 will now be Globally available. Nokia 6 will also be available in a new color i.e. Nokia 6 Special edition. Take a look at the specification of Nokia 6 here.
The Nokia 6 Special Edition will come in Arte Black color and will be packed with 4GB ram & 64 GB of ROM.

Nokia 6 is priced at 229 Euros (16100 INR) and the Nokia 6 Special Edition is priced at 299 Euro (21000 INR).

Nokia 5

The second device which was revealed was the Nokia 5. The specification are trimmed down to match up the price point. The only major differce between Nokia 6 & Nokia 5 is the design.
Although both are having aluminum body, but Nokia 5 has curved edges that make the display feel like it’s bleeding into its metal casing. Nokia 5 is having a display of 5.2 inches and is packed with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 processor.
Just like Nokia 6, Nokia 5 also comes with Android 7.0 out of the box. It comes with a 13-megapixel camera at the rear and a wide-angle 8-megapixel forward-facing camera.
Nokia 5 is priced at 189 Euros (13300 INR) and will be available in blue, silver, matte black, and copper colors.

Nokia 3

The third and final new Nokia Android phone revealed was the Nokia 3. Nokia 3 come with a Flagship design.
Nokia 3 is having a display of 5 inches and is packed with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and MTK 6737 quad-core processor. Unlike the 5 and the 6, the Nokia 3 features a polycarbonate back, with an aluminum frame.
Just like Nokia 6 & Nokia 5, Nokia 3 also comes with Android 7.0 out of the box. It comes with a 8-megapixel camera at the rear and a wide-angle 8-megapixel forward-facing camera.
Nokia 3 is priced at 139 Euros (9700 INR) and will be available in blue, silver, matte black, and copper colors.

Nokia 3310

At the end of the event Nokia Introduced the most iconic device, the Nokia 3310. It comes with a 22hr talk time and up to 10 times more battery power than the old 3310.
It have standby time of 1 month. Also it comes with the new Sankes game & the Nokia ringtone.

All the Nokia Phones will be available in market starting from Q2.
Many of us would be disappointed as no flagship device was revealed at the event but let’s hope we get to know about the flagship and it comes to market soon.
