After TA-1029 and TA-1035, 2 new variants of the Nokia 2 smartphone get certified by the FCC. This brings the toll to 4 product codes which are associated with the Nokia 2. These are TA-1007, TA-1023, TA-1029 and TA-1035.
It is unclear how these 4 variants differ from each other. There’s not much HMD Global can change between these Nokia 2 variants other than the Dual SIM and support for customized cellular bands. So, the different variants are most likely destined towards different carriers in the US.
The Nokia 2 is expected to be unleased on 16th of August alongside the Nokia 8. The Nokia 2 will be Nokia’s cheapest smartphone offering. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 212 processor and 1GB of RAM. One downside of the Nokia 2 can be the suspected lack of VoLTE support.
