Raghu Varma has released an unofficial port of LineageOS 16 for the Nokia’s newest siblings. The Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 users with an unlocked bootloader can now enjoy LineageOS. The build does not come with Google Apps baked in, so, you will have to flash a Gapps zip of your choice if you are into Google’s ecosystem.
The first build is a port of LineageOS 16, which is based on Android 9 (Pie). There are noticeably zero bugs except for some minor ones like the padding between the Navigation bar and the first row of icons on the home screen. It is pretty much ignorable and the build is a breeze to use. If you are into exploring custom ROMs, the Nokia 6.2 or the Nokia 7.2 can be good devices to pick right now.
The installation is nothing trivial, but you should still carefully follow the instructions as mentioned on the XDA thread. Make sure to finalize your install by flashing Vbmeta with the disable verity flags.
